ALT I DIG ER MIT (Everything in You is Mine)
The art work was part of Silkeborg Street Art Festival 2021 that also marked the 175th anniversary of the town of Silkeborg. With this "water poem" I attempted to give a voice to the river that has run through the landscape in and around Silkeborg for millennia.
Nobody owns the water, although we seem to think so. The river was here long before we came, and it will be here long after we are gone.
Rough translation of the poem:
YOU DRANK WITH GREED FROM MY LAKES
NOW I'M HIDING IN YOUR VEINS
UNTIL EVERYTHING IN YOU IS REVERSED
